Black Bobby's "Negro Dialect" Mixtape

"Its done. Hope you like. The mixtape is free and will be available through a Zshare link HERE, my Bandcamp account, my Fairtilizer account, Dat Piff, etc.

Phat Kid Tendencies was an introduction to me and my life story. I wrote a pretty naked album based on traditional, old school Hip-Hip. It came out great. I want to push myself going forward to preserve that spirit while also incorporating more modern sounds through my beat selection. I’ll always keep it real but I think its important to reach a broader audience with my message.

Black Bobby’s Negro Dialect is SQUARE BIZ Entertainment’s fist project to support the Black Bobby for President of Hip-Hop Campaign. On this tape, Black Bobby moves beyond some of the restrictions of Phat Kid Tendencies by incorporating Dirty South dance beats, Dubstep and Electro music while also providing a healthy dose of hard pounding Hip-Hop. US Senator Harry Reid said about now President Barack Obama during the presidential campaign in 2008 that Obama has “no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one.” Black Bobby is using his negro dialect on this tape to take our message to the people and break down the barriers of communication that exist between us. You will hear messages of freedom, unity, and fun. Black Bobby’s Negro Dialect is a mixtape for the summer to keep you thinking, dancing, and chasing your dreams.

HUGE THANKS to everyone that supported this project and all of my projects ever. Also, much love to the SBe fam. SBe, waddup?"

Artist Spotlight: Opus 1

“Hell, I wont excel. I will fail as expected. This decrepit life of mine: I can’t fathom ever having peace of mind.” This quote from the song “Failure”, off of Opus-1’s debut “Face The Fact”, is the essence of who Opus is as an artist. Opus-1’s intelligence combined with his thought provoking, introspective style can be attributed to his dedication to the true essence of hip hop. With over 20 years of experience as not only an MC, but an accomplished producer and engineer as well, Opus brings an attention to musical detail rarely found in hip-hop today. As an MC he provides a dense lyrical flow, complicated metaphors, and meaningful lyrics that often contain double meanings. On the production side of things Opus provides soundscapes that create a mood and take the listener beyond merely listening but to experiencing his music. As an artist Opus brings honesty: creating music so down to earth it’s difficult to not be able to relate to. In addition to “Face The Fact” Opus has recently contributed significantly to the album “Drew Presents The Dark Ages Featuring Opus-1”

DJ Green Lantern Presents Fashawn – Ode To Illmatic [Mixtape]

Lazy post: Ripped this from OnSmash.. havent listened to the tape yet, but it looks official... Let me know what you think...

"Nas Illmatic has to be one of the most influential albums in the history of rap (click the cover to read The Source magazine review of the album, SHORTIE WHAT UP!!). It was the birth of many careers, an era & for having no guest appearances — he was crowned the best lyricist.

Ode To Illmatic is Fashawn’s way of paying homage to the big homie Nas for such an inspirational piece of work on his debut album. That CA swag doesn’t get in the way of the listen (imagine if it was E-40?). Shit, if you run back The Antidote one time and knew nothing of Fash, you might have though he was from New York. The Alchemist really laced him with some gritty boom bap. Whether you agree or disagree with him re-making an ‘untouchable’ album, you can’t deny the Fresno, CA boy spits. Even the vets agree (how do you think he got every instrumental?).

Let us know your thoughts on the mixtape. Presented by DJ Green Lantern, Orisue and XXL.

Hello World, How Are You.....I'm Fine

For the many who probably don't know me, my name is Sean Sundance.. I'm an up and coming producer/graphic designer and I've been making music and remixing for about 5 years now. I just recently put my work out there when I attended dcRap's The Beat Clash, and won.. The amount of love I got was crazy, and since that day I'm really tryna be apart of the DMV music scene. I use both hardware AND software when it comes to my production, and I'm always open for collabs. You can always find my remixes on the upper right column of this blog. Their hosted through my Twiturm, but you can Right-Click and download any tracks you see up there.. If you're a DMV musician, whether it be a producer or artist, you OWE it to yourself to visit The Beat Clash and get some exposure.. There's nuthin like live competition...

Soooooooo this is my new home.. My blog is basically the main outlet for my work.. But besides the stuff I post(which you can preview on the right column), I am really looking forward to posting everyone elses stuff too.. We're all on the come up, and so it's only right that I use this opportunity to not only network with other artists, producers, musicians, graphic designers, entrepreneurs and labels, but its important that I get other peoples dreams out too... Thats really the reason I made this blog.. (besides to post my own shit lol)... So if you have a Bio, a track, a mixtape, a remix, a video, a blog, ANYTHING... send it to SeanTheReal@gmail.com with a picture and I'll post it on this blog ASAP... Let's help eachother grow.. This is Dope-Enomix..
